    Appologies for double posting, but i originally posted this in the setup forum before realising this one is for PIC.

     

    My edge server seems to be working well, communicator mobile works, remote access works (its an access edge server only), however PIC does not work with any of the 3 IM providers. Clients are stuck at presence unkown and it has been this way for days (i've read things that says this can take awhile to start working). Is there a troubleshooting guide anywhere?

     

    I've got the DNS records set as documented, the SSL cert is the Godaddy.com UCC cert, and all else works as expected with Edge.

     

    Any help with PIC setup would be appreciated, or if anyone knows of a good troubleshooting doc....??...

      Have you purchased licenses for Public IM yet?  It's not a free service, just in case you aren't aware.

        Thanks for the link, i'll look over the doc. Its for LCS, still the same process? Yes, we are licensed.

          The link listed on the other set of posts no longer gives a step-by-step on PIC. Is there one somewhere else?

          The edge deployment guide makes it sound like you just have the certs, the DNS records, and enable it.

            Found it; had to hit a link from the MVLS site to activate the PIC licenses.
