Project Professional project plan doesn't update the plan in Project Server

The summary tasks in my Project Server project plan are sorted alphabetically, which I don't want. The tasks in my Project Professional plan are sorted by ID, which I DO want. When I publish my plan, the ID sort does not carry over to the Project Server plan.

Samlex --Your Project Server administrator would need to add the ID Number column to the relevant views you are applying in PWA and then you can sort on the ID Number column. Hope this helps.Dale A. Howard [MVP]

21/جمادى الأولى/1433 07:02 مThank you, Dale. In Server Settings/Manage Views/ I don't seem to have the ID Number field available to add to any of the views. I've looked for "Number ID" and for "ID Number"

The exact name of the column is ID, not ID Number (my mistake). By default, the ID column is already included in every Project Details view that displays task data, such as the Tasks Summary and Tasks Costs views, for example. So, please let us know which view you are trying to change and we will try to help you.
