Answered Project Server 2007 - Pagination Options

    Afternoon

In my Administrative Restore page of Project Server 2007 (PWA) I have a list of roughly 30,000 items that display 200 at a time.  There doesn't appear to be a way to automatically move between pages other than using the Next button at the bottom of the page, which takes me to items 201-400.  This is very problematic, because restoring takes a considerable amount of time!

Essentially, what I would ideally like would be some form of pagination so I could select a page to go to, as opposed to only having the option to select Next.  At the moment the call on clicking Next is something along the lines of:

    javascript:__doPostBack('ctl01$ctl00$PlaceHolderMain$PWA_PlaceHolderMain$idDHTMLGrid','Page 2')

On some other pages (Project Workspaces for example), I can search for the page to load at a specific point using ?PageIndex=VALUE after the page url, however, not in the Admin restore which is where it is most vital.

Any help or suggestions would be most gratefully received, I can provide what ever additional information is required too.

    Hello Darren_William

What I would do is down the SDK for project 2007 and look at the project schema that is contained there.

I would build a SQL query command that joins the right tables to get your information. I wish I had access to some of my old queries, because some joins are not so obvious, but the schema will help.

    Cheers!
