Approver details in custom stage gate workflow

Hello,
I have a scenario where we have a workflow with 6-7 stages. Each stage requires multiple approvals and we are setting the approvers by using PDP customization webparts. Is it possible (with as little customization as possible) for the end user to see in a particular PDP, what is the status of approvals reqd. By default in the default workflow status webpart, it gives way too little information that a stage is pending approval. But of all approvals, which are done, which are pending, when were they submitted and when were they done etc. Giving acess of additional workflow data to the end user is not an option. Is there any feature to support this??Thanks in advance

Atul,
Two approaches come to mind:
1. Look at using an XSLT web part to render out the various workflow tasks in the workflow task list. You might need to do something clever in your workflow to record the ID of the tasks created so you know which ones are relevant for the project / stage combination
2. build a custom web part that queries the workflow / approval status via the PSI / Reporting DB and renders accordingly
