I cannot add mtbot to my contacts

I cannot add mtbot@hotmail.com to my contacts, I get the following message:
Sorry! mtbot@hotmail.com could not be added to your contact list because he or she does not have credentials (e-mail address and password) to use as a Windows Live ID.
I'm using Windows Messenger:mac 7.0.2 (I get the same message with 8.x.x)
I remember using mtbot 2 years ago, but not which version of Messenger I had at that time.

Hi Scuba4fun5,
Not sure why you couldn't add mtbot@hotmail.com to your contact list. I just deleted mtbot and then added it to my contact list. What version of Messenger do you have? Perhaps updating Messenger?

hi,
please i try to add mtbot to my msn .but i keep getting the result that there is too much contacts on my msn and i should remove someone contacts from my msn..does that means i'm gonner remove all the contants i have on my msn?..please someone should help.

Hi danjus,
There is a menu on Messenger and under Contacts, you’ll see Delete a contact. When you click that, you’ll see the list of your contacts and can delete your contact(s) manually. I am not sure whether you have to delete all the contacts.
