已鎖定 The Pictures Used on Live Search

It would be great to identify the pictures used on Live Search. For example, the swan boats on today's Live Search main page - where was this picture taken? Is there any way to identify information about these beautiful photographs?

    Thanks.

Pictures are impossible for computers to reliably identify. Paying people to do that is too expensive.

Vote if helpful, I am running for Office (joke), also mark questions answered. IT/Developer, Windows/Linux/Whatever I need a new web server, the antique IBM 300GL has a 137GB disk limit, for my chess site. I wanted to post many more downloadable files, the existing 30GB disk is insufficient.

    Huh?

I think we'd like to know the photo sources and it shouldn't be a problem. Surely Live Search developers didn't randomly pull a photo and use it without permission.

I think what the OP is trying to say is that'd it'd be nice to know how to view the photo source (ie. photographer, etc.) so we may set it as a background or something of the sort.

I, for one, like today's photo of the Charles Bridge in Prague on Live Search and would like to find out how to obtain as a background image on my desktop. Surely there's a way to locate the photographer or source of photos used on Live Search...

    Hi,

I initiated this thread. I did not realize that there were "hotspots" on the photos that one could click on in order to receive more information about the location of the photograph - at my age, everything is a learning process. So MS does help us to identify the photos to a degree. I do agree with the person who wants more information about the photographers - they should be given credit for their work through a website link or title at the bottom of the photo.

My thanks to all who have responded to this query.

I use the Windows Live Photo Gallery which does have the ability to identify pics by face. I also have Adobe software and they do not have that in any of their free programs. I only have Illustrator that I use for graphics arts.

I don't think any of this has been helpful - it's mostly just been incoherent responses to what I view as a simple question with regard to Live photo sources/citation. There's still no answer to the question posed.

I guess it was worth a try -  or maybe not.

Windows Live Photo Gallery does have a learning curve, but its not hard. The docs are a bit lacking but its still under development.

I use it as it's handy for posting pics to my Office Live account for collaboration etc.
