  Hi

  I have just installed windows 2008 rc0 and the beta1 of the new compute cluster software. I have also deployed an image to a single node successfully.

  The head node is on both public and private networks and the worker node is on the private network only.

  when I do a diagnostic test, the "Service Health Test" always fails with an error

   

  "The management service failed to communicate with the SDM Store on the headnode. A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd:9892"

   

  I also get ccpManagement errors 6103 and 6104 in the event log.

   

  The SDM Store service is started and as far as  I can tell (being new to the 2008 server interface) the firewall rules look ok. Everything has been setup using defaults really.

   

  Any ideas as how to proceed. I have tried restarting the services/rebooting etc to no avail.
