I think I understand it now, but I need confirmation.  PLEASE COMMENT so I can sleep tonight!!  :)

I have installed SharePoint Learning Kit (SLK) version 1.5.1 (which is supports SCORM 2004) into my Sharepoint 2007 enviornment.  I am using Microsoft's Learning Content Development System (LCDS) version 2.6 (which is SCORM 1.2 compliant) to develop e-Learning documents.  I have installed and configured everything correctly.

*** The Problem ***  SLK automatically recognizes/stores the grade/score from the "learner's" completed assignment in the "My Assignemnt" Web Part when using the sample e-Learning document provided with the SLK installation (Solitaire.zip), but NOT with the documents I created with LCDS.  I have searched EVERY forum and blog I can find, but have yet to find a solution for this simple functionality.

*** My Conclusion ***  Once I really started thinking about it and reading more about it, I concluded that it HAS TO BE the difference in the SCORM versions!  SLK supports SCORM 2004 which offers more functionality (more/better communication between the content "pieces" and the LMS) but LCDS only reaches SCORM 1.2 compliancy.  The sample e-Learning document was developed using a tool that meets SCORM 2004 standards!!!  Therefore, the grade/score from my LCDS assignement does not automatically transfer to SLK, but instead must be manually calculated and entered by the "instructor".

In the "GettingStartedSLK.pdf" document provided with the SLK installation, see the NOTE on page 16 between steps 5 and 6 in section 4.3.  It talks about "illustrating the sequencing and navigation behavior of SCORM 2004".

Again, PLEASE comment - let me know I am on the right track and not going crazy - I want to sleep tonight!!!!

I'm having the exact same trouble you are, but also can't find a solution for it.  Have you made any progress over the last 4 months?
