    I am using a trial version of AutoCollage. I want to pick the photos myself from a file, which video says I can do. However the video shows the "extras" menu item, which is not on the latest version of Windows Live Photo Gallery

    Hi Dianne,

    Since the video was created they have changed the layout of Windows Live Photo Gallery. To add images to Microsoft Research AutoCollage 2008, please follow the steps below:

    1. Select the images you wish to use in Windows Live Photo Gallery
    2. Click on the "Create" menu tab at the top of Windows Live Photo Gallery
    3. Select the "More tools" item in the ribbon menu
    4. Click on the "Add to AutoCollage..." menu entry
