Locked Ordinal Not Found Error

    I don't know if this is the right sub group to ask this question in but when I install communicator on a clients machine I get the error "The ordinal 185 could not be located in the dynamic library MAPI32.DLL". Could the mapi32.dll be corrupted?

    I looked on the internet but I could not find anything related to this error. Thanks!

      Have you installed Exchange 2000/2003 Management tools on the workstation?

      It is not supported to have outlook and Exchange Managements tools on the same workstation

        No, there are no Exchange management tools installed on the workstation.

          Then you probably have a bad DLL on your system

          Try to replace it

          Try reinstalling Outlook and latest patches
