Is there a way to search by phone number in CRM 3.0 ?

You can add the phone number as a Find Column in the Quick Find view for all relevant entities, which means a user can type in all or part of a phone number in the Look For box above the main grids.
To do this, go to Setting, Customization, Customize Entities and open the relevant entity (e.g. account, contact, lead). Then go to Forms and Views, Quick Find View, and click on Find Columns to select the telephone number field(s). Then save all this and publish the entity

Its really easy man!!!
1. Open your contacts area.
2. Click Advance Find
3. Click New
4. In Fields click Business Phone
5. In value field give your required phone #
6. Click Find
7. You can also Save this query...
Inform if your problem doesn't gets resolved with this...
