  Hi Ashish,

  The Visual Ribbon Editor is indeed a good tool but only takes you so far. The Ribbon Workbench was written to support all customisation scenarios:

  1. Deployment is easy since it's a managed solution. Once installed it's accessible by all users who have Customisation access.
  2. Drag and Drop support for easily moving buttons/groups/tabs around on the ribbon.
  3. Supports all customisation scenarios including:

  • Customising standard buttons and commands
  • Adding new Tabs
  • Adding new Groups with full control over how it scales.
  • Adding Anchor Buttons
  • Adding Split Buttons
  • Adding Drop Down Menus & adding to standard out of the box ones
  • Customising the Jewel Menu
  • Changing the scaling behaviour of tabs
  • Supports dynamic drop down menus
  • Allows renaming of standard buttons, groups and tabs
