CRM 3.0 and windows 2008

Hi,
Please can you confirm that Microsoft CRM 3.0 will work in an AD environment that contains a Windows 2008 server. Does it work with all the different functional levels (win 2000, native 2003 and windows 2008) ??
Can you also confirm whether you install Microsoft CRM 3.0 on Windows 2008 server or is it just version 4.0 that installs on 2008?

Dear Marc,
Only CRM 4.0 will work with Windows 2008, CRM 3.0 can work with office 2007 now as latest patch of email router lanuch in last month for CRM 3.0 with office 2007.
I would recomend if you see CRM 4.0 implementation guide.
