    Hello MSCRM Community,

    I wonder if I can set up an Email Router for my CRM2011 test environment beside our existing Email Router of CRM4.0 Live environment that uses the same Exchange server? I just want to test if our Exchange server works the same way with CRM2011 as before with CRM4.0.

    Does this lead to any problems? I haven't read any suggestion in the setup guides or forums not to run more than one Email Router with one and the same Exchange server concurrently, but maybe I am just missing some important thought why it can cause a problem?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can have multiple CRM deployments with multiple Email Routers against the same Exchange Server. Just make sure you use different forward mailboxes for each deployment.
