Creating child territories in 3.0

  I am trying to create multiple territories that all sit under one main territory for reporting purposes.  E.g Main territory is workldwide and then Child territory UK, US etc

   

  The documentation suggests that this is possible however I cannot see how?

   

  Is this also the best method for reporing and user management or is there a more preferable method?  I am teaching myself this tool at the same time as configuring it so please be gentle!
