    open notepad, copy and paste the following text:

    </html>
    </body>
    <a href="http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_links.asp"> This page teaches you how to make a hyperlink </a>
    <body/>
    <html/>

    When saving this file select "All Files" in the bar under the bar where your cursor is blinking.

    Go back to that bar and enter:"Link.html". Assuming you've chosen an appropriate location

    it should be easy to find. Windows will recognize it as a web-page and the icon will change

    accordingly. Double click/select and enter the file and you will see what you have just done

    and -probably- how to tune/test/tweak it.

    Right click the link and select "Copy Shortcut" in Internet Explorer. For posting to your blog try Windows Live Writer (http://get.live.com) application. Supports Windows Live Spaces and other blog hosts and is easy to use and almost WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)
