Windows XP Infected by rpsSecurityAwareR.exe

Hi,
My Windows XP laptop is infected with rpsSecurityAwareR.exe virus. I deleted the exe, but still the problem persists. I can't open any application.
To overcome this virus, i created new User Profile, which is working fine, but the profile which is infected still has problem.
Can anyone help me out to remove the virus from the affected profile Or Can i delete the affected profile.
