We have a response group on OCS 2007 R2 with a que that times out after 10 seconds and forwards the call to a PSTN number.
Internally the response group works 100%, but not when you are dialing from outside. As soon as the caller from outside hits the response group you can hear you get redirected to the number we specified after 10 seconds, but then the call ends immediatly.
I did run the following script in win powershell:
$VoiceUser = gwmi -q "select * from MSFT_SIPESUserSetting where PrimaryURI='sip:email@example.com'"
$RGSContact = gwmi -q "select * from MSFT_SIPApplicationContactSetting where PrimaryURI='sip:firstname.lastname@example.org'"
$RGSContact.UCPolicy = $VoiceUser.UCPolicy
What I have noticed is when you dial the response group internally from communicator, your communicator ends the call with the response group and starts a new communicator call to the PSTN number specified in the response group.
Is that maybe the reason why external callers get disconnected as it doesnt know how to dial the new number?
Help will be much appreciated.
