i have problem while voice chat

1. dubna 2009 3:02i hve xps m1210 model dell labtop before when i was chating or doing voice chat online it was clear but now i hav a problem in yahoo messanger as it breaks the voice and says that it is because of wifi . now i can see wifi is switch on when i start my pc and it is on the right side of my labtop if i want to switch off wht should i do as i want my voice system to be clear when i am doing voice chat or video call
