Formatting randomly changes in Word 2007 when document opened from different machines

  We publish to Word 2007 from a single source authoring tool. We often make edits and save the document in Word. When someone else opens the doc from a different machine, the formatting of some of the sections randomly changes (font, paragraph, headings). Why does this happen?
