Do you have port 4125 forwarded to your WHS box?

Sounds like you have port 80 (HTTP) forwarded okay, but not 443 (HTTPS) which is needed to complete the logon.
You'll also need 3389 and 4125 forwarded to your WHS box to use remote desktop.

...i put the machine in the DMZ and forwarded all ports, but clicking the Logon Button leads to the configurationpage of the DSL-router :-(

RoryDAlso, you don't need to forward 3389 to your server. (Unless you plan on using Remote Desktop, remote access will work without that port).

Hi,
it seems that you router web interface is on port 443 (SSL/HTTPS). Try to change the router's port.

I got it :-)
My router is a speedport W700V from the german telekom and I had to define a dedicated rule for every port to forward - silly thing :-(

23. února 2007 16:26Just to confirm: I go the same router and even though help says you can open several ports by using comma as seperator, it does not work.
