    I was in the process of installing the Shared Computer Toolkit when I learned that SteadyState had been released. The computer had not yet had disk protection turned on but it did have the User Profile Hive Cleanup installed. I have removed SCT and UPHClean but I really would like to save the users that were going to used with the Toolkit as I have done a lot of work within them.

     

    Is there any way to save them or migrate them for use with SteadyState?

    Dear MT,

    I upgraded an existing installation of the Shared Computer Toolkit v. 1.1 to SteadyState v. 2.0 as described in the manual and observed that the one restricted user that was defined in the former had been kept in the latter with all the original restrictions intact.
