cannot download office online templates from office 2007 onlineI

  • When i try to download templates from the office online i click the get genuine button and it says that its validated but i keep having the same problem.  I took it back to where i purchase it and they ran the diagnostic tool.  The report is below

    Thank you for posting in the Office Genuine Advantage "OGA" forums today. I noticed you have two versions of Office currently installed. Office programs normally do not come standard on computers but are offered for an additional cost. Computer Manufacturers will often include a Trial version of Office Home and Student 2007, which allows you to use it for a limited number of uses after which, it will ask for a valid Office Product Key. Please remove Home and Student 2007 "the trial version". Please restart your computer then revalidate Office again. This should resolve your problem. Please let us know :-).

  • Having trouble trying to figure which one is the trial version.  I check under install programs and I have Microsoft Office home and student, and Microsoft Office 2007 professional, however the microsoft office 2007 professional is just an upgrade for existing users.  In additon i also have something call compatibility pack for the office 2007 office system.

  • Please look for Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 in your uninstalled programs then uninstall it.
