This was working some time back and recently broke.  At the moment for some reason internal LAN users cannot send files nor do desktop sharing.  We get the following error:
"Cannot send "filename.txt" to usernamel. This may be due to firewall restrictions or network problems. Please try again. If you need further assistance, contact your system administrator."
Any assistance on this problem would be great!

Both of those features attempt peer-to-peer connections, so if that is faliing then you need to look at either the Windows firewall on the clients or find out if the clients are separated by a firewall or any other internal network configuration that is filtering ports.

Hi there , by default MOC client use TCP connections, default port range includes ports 6891 through 6901. This post maybe can help you to clarify file transfer execution

For desktop sharing do you have any references ?
I agree with jeff, you must check your peers firewall , because file trasnfer and  direct remote desktop sharing from moc are peer to peer connections.
