Hi,
I'm somewhat new with Dynamics CRM and am wondering if it's possible to integrate it with TFS 2010. For instance, having a case creation in Dynamics CRM cause a creation of a work item in TFS. Is this possible? Please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Hi Brandon,
Since both systems are SQL based you can integrate using standard SQL programming techniques and the CRM SDK. You could also leverage Scribe software if you prefer.

Hi Brandon,
The short answer to your question is "yes". In fact, we have already done it. Only in our case, it's to support our product management software application. Leveraging Dynamics CRM (xRM), we created a requirements management platform. The output of our system (a prioritized backlog), feeds TFS. Completed items update CRM. The link below provides an overview of our CRM/TFS intergation.

Good news! Quantum Whisper has since launched a CRM and TFS connector. Not only does it address cases (e.g., bugs) but it also supports custom entities and fields. You can find screenshots here: http://www.quantumwhisper.com/crm-tfs-case-integration-screen-shots/
