So like I said in the title my computer was going through some crazy times such as not recognizing the DVD drive anymore so I decided to throw all my files on a external hard drive and compeletly reinstall windows XP again. Problem is Windows Live One Care was installed on this computer first, then my Dad's computer and Mom's computer. So once my computer was back up and running I used the Beta link from my hotmail account, installed software but activating with my hotmail account says, "looks like you need a subscription" and tells me to click continue which takes me here: http://get.live.com/en-us/onecare/perpetualclientb?wa=wsignin1.0 . I've already e-mailed the beta team (ocbeta@microsoft.com) three times in the past 2 weeks and still no response. Anyone here help me? Appreciate it.

If you installed the beta you should have seen this on the download page:
Note for Beta participants: Unless you have received an e-mail containing instructions for activation, please do not activate Windows Live OneCare at this time. You will receive instructions for activating your free trial at the end of the Beta period.
If you have a subscription and would like to reinstall One Care and activate, download One Care 1.6 from here - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/default.htm

thanks for the help... I did recieve an invitation to the beta a long time ago though... but oh well ill just stick with 1.6 until its automatically upgraded to 2.0 ... my computer is now activated
