Problems with defrag

I have a similar problem with defrag, but I get a different error message. I tried to run defrag on my computer and it said, "Disk Defrag has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on Vol C. Please run Chkdsk /f."
I attempted to run Chkdsk /f, but then I got the message, "Chkdsk /f cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. "
I thought maybe Windows Live One Care was the culprit so I tried to run the tune up from there. It skipped right over "defrag". Then I got the error message, "An unknown error prevented tune up from performing this task."

Try the guided help in this article:

Or, select the option in Chkdsk to schedule it to occur on reboot, before Windows starts fully. That will resolve the "in use" issue.
