    Is Microsoff EVER going to fix the Mappoint 2011 installation problem that occurs with the C++ Redistributable not installing with Win 7 Sp1?

    It has been over a year now with no indication that  MS has ever even acknowledged the problem.  Is MS even aware of the issue?

    is that where it says that it couldn't install one of the components and then fails to complete set up?  Do you know of any workaround?
