Window Home Server for slow computers

  I think that there should be a version of windows home server thats cheaper and works on slower computers (maybe 20gb hard drive, 256mb ram,all pentium 3) and based on windwos 2000 server
  
  Not many people would buy a new computer just to use as a home server or have a computer lying around thats good enough to run home server on it.
  The computer im using at the moment can't run home server becouse i dont have the hard drive space.
  
  I would use home server if it was cheaper and could run on older computers
