    When I try to connect to my blogger and wordpress blogs, Windows Live Writer (Build 14.0.8089.726 en) gives me the following error message:

    "An error occurred while attempting to connect to your blog. Unable to connect to remote server. You must correct this error before proceeding. "

    There is no problem with connecting to the blog, though. When I click on "View Blog " it promptly takes me to my blog! There have been no changes in username or password, so I dont understand whats happening. I even uninstalled and re-installed WLW, but that doesnt help either.

      One of my users having the same issue. Unfortunately I can't access the computer otherwise could have looked at the event viewer to see if gives a hint of why its happening. Bollyviewer check the following and see if you get it to work.

      1. Check you Anti-Virus app and make sure that it is not blocking WLW.
      2. See if you can add WLW to the list of programs in Firewall exceptions.

      also please post in detail, if you find anything in event log
