Locked Emoticons

    Good morning,

     

    Many users in our pilot phase of OC 2007 are wondering if they can use custom emoticons.

    I've noticed that there are no options to add theses emoticons.

     

    Any plans for future releases?

      There is no way to add emoticons to OC. I have not heard of plans on adding them to future releases. I will put this as a feature request.

        Is there a way to uninstall or keep my network users from being able to use the emoticons in Office Communicator 2007? What file are the emoticons stored in?

          this can be controlled via the Communicator.adm (2007) GPO.

            I ALREADY HAVE EMOTICONS, I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO APPLY IT TO MY MESSAGES, THIS IS AN HOW TO QUESTIONS, I GUESS HOW TO SELECT YOUR EMOTICONS.

              In communicator, tools, options, instant messages(tab) then check show emoticons in....
