    Hi,

    I am not able to add web reference for CRM 4.0 server which is in a different domain using http://mycrm/mscrmservices/2007/crmservice.asmx. If I use http://mycrm/mscrmservices/2006/crmservice.asmx I am able add the reference and I have to use 3.0 connection/methods to work.

    Please let me know if any solution.

    Try to specify the organization name for your webservice.  If you find that it's not working, try to copy and paste the web service URL on the IE and see what kind of error is it returning.  Without knowing the exact error, it's hard for us to help you.

    It looks like there was another thread on this topic: http://forums.microsoft.com/Dynamics/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3089854&SiteID=27. Adding the organizationName parameter seemed to do the trick. I don't recall seeing that parameter in the SDK or other documentation, though. I guess *everything* can't be documented... then what good would these forums be?  :-)
