Synchronizing Account Address with Contact Adress when edited

Dienstag, 9. Juni 2009 18:26Can anybody give me a hint how to synchronize the address data edited on the account to the contact belonging to it.
The reason therfore is to avoid different Adressinformations on the Account and the Contact Entity. The synchronization can be either done on save as well as running a sheduled workflow.
I'm looking to a solution done with standard customizing or a Partner Solution available.

to synchronize the address data between accoutn and cntact, you have to write a little PlugIn.

sorry, there is no way with standard customization. Additionally afaik there is also no standard extension by partners.
As Michael proposed you have to develop a .NET-based PlugIn. Additional there is a way with JScript. But I do not recommend this option because JScript is only executed in the context of a formular.
A CRM developer can develop such PlugIn in four to eight hours.
