Locked Windows Authentication Error

    Management Reporter RTM (2.0.1662.27) is installed.  When Company>>Companies is selected from the MR menu bar, one company appears; this company is Fabrikam for GP 2010.  When the Set as Default button is selected the Connect to Demo Company ("Demo Company" is the company description given to Fabrikam when we originally setup the company for use w/ MR) window appears with the Use Windows Authentication checkbox marked.  Next, when the OK button is selected the following error message appears:

    Windows Authentication is not supported for Microsoft Dynamics GP

    Have we misconfigured something?  Or is this a bug?

      Hello Darren,

      Windows Authentication is not supported with GP. So, when you see that window, clear the Checkbox to use Windows Authentication. Then type in a GP username and password and click ok. That should give you access to the GP data.
