Anti-Virus Software Problem
-
Mittwoch, 3. Februar 2010 17:19One of the computers in our office has been effected by a spyware program titled "Security Tool" and we are unable to remove it. All of the computers in the office have Windows Live One Care installed and the program is used daily. The Windows Live One Care should have blocked and/or picked the program from being installed. We now need it removed because it is blocking use of any programs on the effected computer. However, the program will not allow Windows Live One Care to run at all. As previously stated, the virus is preventing any program from running, including the Windows Live One Care software. Please help us find a solution to this problem as soon as possible as loss of use of the effected computer is detrimental to our daily tasks. Thank you.

Note that no security software is 100% effective in preventing infections. The malware writers are always working harder and harder to trick users into allowing the infection to take hold and elude detection by the security software.
