Montag, 1. Dezember 2008 15:14I have files on a USB drive where One-Care was backing up my laptops data. Since I no longer wish to use One-Care because of the poor performance of the software compared with competitive software, I would like to remove these old files from my USB drive but I can not delete them.
I have set the properties of the main folder and all sub-folders to network share and authorize full file changes including delete but I still can not delete the files. What next?
I do not see any feature in "One-Care" that allows me to delete these folders either.

I'll add that you may need to work backwards through the folder tree, deleting the lowest level folder contents, then the folder, then work your way up to the main folder, deleting as you go.

Dienstag, 13. April 2010 11:48ModeratorIt works the same way in Windows 7 as in earlier versions of Windows - that is, painfully. If you are unable to delete the folders and do not wish to format your external drive, please contact support for help with deleting the folders -
