    what are the steps to follow to import a project from another project tool e.g (primavera) into project professional 2010?

    The best advice I can think of is a) do a Google search on "import primavera to project" and see some of the articles written by others. Also find some people who have good knowledge or both products, or people who know both products who can collaborate, and have them get on with it.

    Hi,

    In the other tool, try to save the file in a format Project can import.

    "Import" in Project means Open, and the different formats can be detected through File, Open, then look at the possibilities. Do not forget to allow the option to open non-Project files in File, Options, Security, Trust Center... "Can open files in Legacy Formats".
