Has anybody else found that when they install the Beta of MS Project 2010, then Outlook slows to a crawl?  As soon as you uninstall it, then Outlook goes back to normal.

I'm  running on a Dell Vostro V1710, Intel Core2 Duo CPU, 2.6 GHz, 3 GB RAM with Windows XP Professional 2002 Service Pack 3.

I haven't seen this, but curious. What version of Outlook and Office are you running?

Did you happen to look at the Windows task manager and look at the Performance tab.  Where is the processor running?

Look at the Services tab.  Which processes are running high?

Also check the network tab.  Are you seeing a lot of network activity?

Are you running the 64 or 32 bit version of project?  Windows XP?

    Cheers!

Thanks for this, Michael.  I'm running Outlook 2007 SP2 and Office 2007.  I was running 32 bit project.  I'll check these other things you mention and let you know.
