    I can see the WHS backup component being incredibly useful in a corporate setting. No messing around with reinstalling all a user's individual applications and utilities - even if available pre-packaged - would be a wonderful timesaver. And the way WHS backup operates, you could store a few thousand machines very economically. Is it available separately?

    No. It's only available as part of Windows Home Server. However, Windows Home Server is being deployed into small businesses by quite a few consultants, exactly because the backup tool is so useful. And inexpensive; consider that the per seat cost of of WHS as a backup tool is ridiculously low, on the order of $50-75.

    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
