Is the WHS backup component available separately?
Is the WHS backup component available separately?
- I can see the WHS backup component being incredibly useful in a corporate setting. No messing around with reinstalling all a user's individual applications and utilities - even if available pre-packaged - would be a wonderful timesaver. And the way WHS backup operates, you could store a few thousand machines very economically. Is it available separately?

- No. It's only available as part of Windows Home Server. However, Windows Home Server is being deployed into small businesses by quite a few consultants, exactly because the backup tool is so useful. And inexpensive; consider that the per seat cost of of WHS as a backup tool is ridiculously low, on the order of $50-75.
