Outlook, How to delete an unwanted message

  • When you add a unique item to one of a set of recurring appointments you get the message"

    "The contents of this appointment have been updated."

     

    This is good information, perhaps (once or the first time), but to have the entire cell cluttered up with it is useless.

     

    How do you get around it? Or better, delete it?
