Single Front-End Server Capacity

My company only wants to setup Office Communications Serv 2007 to allow IM through Office Communicator 2007. What is the user capacity for a single Front End Server? I see that the capacity for 4 Front End Servers is 30K.

For a standard deployment 5000 users is the best practices for one front end server. The one you make reference to is the entry Enterprise configuration. There is a good web cast by Byron Spurlock that might help you plan for you deployment. It can be found @
