Hi Everybody,
We are deploying windows 7 on some 6000 machines manufactured in our factory in China. Having tried different avenues, best we've got offered from various MS partners were 6000 DVDs. Could somebody advise who to address/how to purchase 1 master key with several licenses on it, in order to mass-deploy and off-line activate customers' computers, please?
Thanks in advance

Hello clausoft,
If you are manufacturing the computer and then selling them to customers, your options are to be a systembuilder/OEM or a Royalty OEM. Royalty OEMs get their own deployment product keys and use the SLP method for activation.
If you are building 6,000 computers a day, you might qualify for Royalty OEM status. Otherwise, you are a systembuilder/OEM and must use the OEM Preinstallation Kit to preinstall Windows onto the computers, and you must affix a CoA to each computer, and you must provide a genuine Microsoft hologrammed installation disc with each computer. You can also provide an on-disc recovery partition-style recovery system, but this is an added extra---doing so does not relieve you of the requirement to provide discs to your customers.
