I did a clean installso my computer would run faster and to make sure virus were eliminated. Did all the updates and the after install SP2 update the WGA validation error appeared. Don't understand why?
Download WGA tool (WGADiag2.exe) and my COA is genuine/validate but little star on task bar say WGA failure. The WGA Tool info say my Genuine Validation Statusis "Genuine". It's a OEM SLP

Try this, and let me know if it works:
- Start->Run
- Enter "WgaTray /b"
- Press OK
- Log on and off a couple times.
Thanks,
Greg

Thanks , it took a few times, but it worked. Thank you.
I put the Wgtay.exe on rootdrive c:\ before being able to use the "WgaTray /b"
