Locked schedule updates

    Can I schedule my updates for a specific time. My satalite internet provider says I keep going over my allowed Mb of usage and wants me to do large downloads during non peak hours like 2:00am to 7:00am.

      You can configure Windows Update to download and install updates at a time of your choosing.

        You cannot, however, schedule the Windows Live OneCare update checks. The updates are not generally large, except once per month when the database is refreshed.
