Project Pro 2010 crashes after Save As Excel Workbook

Using MSP Pro 2010 (Version 14.0.6112.5000 (32 bit)), Office 2007 Pro
When I go through the steps to save my project to Excel Workbook, I get a workbook with no information, and a sheet name that's not what I specified. Then, when I save the project (so I don't lose all the specs...) Project crashes...and loses the specs. Thankfully, I had already saved the project prior to trying to export to Excel.
What am I doing wrong? Just exporting tasks, just a dozen of them, with a table of half a dozen fields. I could type 'em into Excel faster.
Ideas?
Jim

After further research, though the problem is not solved, it appears to have happened before with no resolution:
