    Hi,

    when I try to review status updates sent to me inside the Preview Update window in PWA, I get the following pop-up error:

    The view failed to load. Press OK to reload this view with the default settings. Press Cancel to select another view.

    I found the same post here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/projectserver2010general/thread/3ef48901-0d1a-47ef-b6e3-6d1eed64ba66?prof=required and the person replied that he

    "Yes, I finally realised that if you got links on summary tasks the view doesn't load. I removed those links and the web-part appeared."

    I edited the project plan in Project Pro and I didn't see any predecessors on summary tasks. Does anyone else know what can cause this issue?

    Hello!!!

    Did you removed the assignments from the summary tasks?

    Which version of the Project Server?

    Try it...

    I'm using 2010 version.

    I'm fairly new to the system. How would I remove assignments from the summary tasks?

    I found the problem. One of the subtasks was linked to sumamry task. Thank you for help.
