    Hi,

We have got 2 Project Server Servers with this issue.

One of the reasons for the new server is to get rid of this issue.

Under Project Site Provisioning Settings on PWA the drop down on "Default Web Application" is blank.

This is causing us to not be able to create project Sites...And i have to get this sorted asap..
    Details:
Project Server 2010 with Feb 2012 CU
Sharepoint 2010 Enterprise Feb 2012 CU

    Thanks

i Am now trying to check the "Restrict Project site creation to the default site collection"

    and also the

"Allow users to manually create project sites in Project Server." But then i cant save... almost like not responding...

Strange thing on 2 totally different servers.
The SQL Server Is shared but diffrent DB's

    Hi there,

How many web applications do you have on the farm? if only the one, try creating a test web application to see if that appears in the list.

    Thanks

Do you have any IE errors in the bottom left corner when on the provisioning page?

    Thanks

Ok, cant get a image uploaded...

    Can this be security related?

Im sure it was working. i Changed the app pools to use a separate account with out any rights.

Changed it back now and restarting, maybe im lucky

Did you create new DBs for both PS 2010 installs or did you use the same DB backups for both? Were these new installs or upgrades?

    Thanks

    Paul

    Totally separate DB's.

    Clean install, not upgrade.

Did both PWA sites provision successfully?

    Thanks

    Yip, provision successfully.

And that was working...There was a site in the dropdown after it provisioned.

Can you open Central Admin, navigate to the Project Server Service Application, then click Edit from the drop down menu next to the PWA site, Click Edit on the next page without making any changes and see if that is successful. Then retest the Project Site Provisioning Settings page. I would do this on the other system first if you have it rather than the production system in case editing of the PWA site fails.

    Thanks
