    Hi,

I'm trying to build an Excel Report in Dashboard Designer, based on the MS_Project_SharePoint cube (Project 2010).

I used the two Measures :

    • Number of issues
    • Number of risks

    Bottom axis : Project_Department_Project.

But the result is false: instead of the number of risk and the number of issues for each Department, the graph repeats for each department the Total number of risks and the Total number of issues for all the projects.

    What did I miss?

    Thanks

You will probably need to add "Project List" to your report as well and then summarize it.

    Hi WLID1966,

did you add the dimension Project Department_Project to the Cube: Project in your OLAP DB configuration in PWA? Since it's not an assignment cube, all dimensions that you added to your assignment cubes (e.g. Portfolio Analyser) will need to be added separately to project cubes (e.g. MSP_Project_SharePoint).

Does that help? If not, try different settings/cubes. The phenomenon of always showing the whole total is usually by missing dimensions which cause the filters to fail.

    Kind regards,
    Adrian
