SharePoint Project server 2010 client from intranet gets prompted to login multiple times

Hi all, we have a hosted environment and things work well from our local PCs in a non domain, and from our office PCs in a domain. However our client, coming from their intranet gets prompted multiple times (6-9 before finally rendering the page.)
It looks like the style sheet is missing, we sometimes get a whole bunch of icons dumped on a page. Yet everywhere else works fine. Has anyone ran into this before?

Have they added the site as a Trusted Site ?

They are resistant to this saying it should not be needed. I tend to agree with them because on my non domain PC at home it works fine and the site is not trusted.

Thanks turns out they had some 'blue agent' proxy software we didn't know about in the mix. Once they are on a machine without that all is well. So they are in the process of white listing us.
