Discussion should be able to go to a different forum in one click from one forum

    Currently if I want to go from one Expression forum to a different Expression forum, I have to click on the Forums link in the breadcrumb and then click on the forum I want (and depending on the forum, I may have to scroll the page too). Given the time it takes for each page to display, this one extra step adds up. It would be more convenient if I could just go from forum to forum such as from a drop down menu in the bread crumb.

    We had discussed this feature, the one issue we come back to is that current forums has > 100 Forums. Typically a dropdown of that many items is not really useable/useful. So the trick is to figure out a mechanism to do what you want which would be a nice feature in a way that the user can use.

    Well in the Expression forums I would expect it to only list the Expression forums which are less than 10.

    Take the SQL Server forums for instance, to which I moderate.

    I would not expect to see all of the forums for the site, but I would like to see a drop down for all of the contained sub forums.

    MSDN > Forums > SQL Server > SQL Server Integration Services

    For instance, I'd like to be able to click on "SQL Server Integration Services" and be presented with a list of sub-forums under "SQL Server."

    Every forum (at least over at MSDN) belongs to some "grouping", so applying this logic to the 4th branch of the "tree" as illustrated above should work for all cases, no?
